JANUARY18-20 Jacumba Hot Springs, CA

Dearest medicine keepers, welcome to the invitation for WOVEN, a gathering where queer men remember themselves through the ancient practice of elemental belonging.

This ceremony invites queer male-identified and/or male-socialized spirits to gather for two nights of transformative contact.

With the land.

With each other.

With the elements.

And with the medicine you've been carrying all along.

What This Experience Is About

Deepening your relationship to belonging: to the earth, to yourself and to your queer brothers.

As queer people, many of us move through the world carrying our medicine in secret, translating ourselves to be understood, wondering if we truly belong.

This gathering offers a

A space to sit in ceremony with sacred allies

To move between elemental thresholds
To be witnessed without performance

Woven is a place to remember your queerness as medicine, a time to welcome the exiled parts home, to feel less alone, more woven into the fabric of creation.

Together we remember who we've always been.

EARTH

Belonging as birthright. Making magic of your wounds and offering it with generosity. Growing your capacity to see more of what belongs in the circle of creation.

The earth doesn't ask you to be different than you are. Neither does this circle.

WATER

Restoring authentic relationship with your emotions and ancestors. Touching the lineage of queer medicine carriers who held this wisdom before you.

The water remembers. Your body remembers.
This is where grief becomes medicine. Where stories dissolve. Where you learn to flow.

FIRE

Initiation into your own mysteries through self-love and Eros. Claiming your role as medicine keeper. Understanding your queerness as cosmic assignment, not pathology.

The fire doesn't make you into something new.
It burns away everything that was never you.

WIND

Remembering who you are and how to stand in it. Connection to land and Indigenous wisdom. Feeling your place in the great weaving.

The land remembers you. The elements speak your name.
You already know how to do this.

You'll Experience:

  • Intimacy with nature : your queerness woven into the fabric of the living earth
  • Intimacy with ancestors: connecting to the lineage of queer medicine keepers
  • Intimacy with your soul: welcoming home the parts you've kept in exile
  • Intimacy with your brothers: being witnessed in your wholeness without mask
  • Eros as life force: the creative current that moves through all living things

We'll root ourselves through ceremony, sharing circles, movement, and witnessing.

There will be space for silence, laughter, dance, cuddles, rest, and the remembering that happens when queer brothers gather.

This Gathering Is For You If:

  • You're a gay, queer, bi, or trans man ready to move beyond "fixing" into wholeness
  • You've done foundational healing work and you're ready for what comes after
  • You feel disconnected between your spirituality and your Eros and sexuality
  • You want to be in community with men who see all of you
  • You're ready to stop seeking healing and start being medicine

Gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, gender-fluid, masc-of-center, non-binary, all who gravitate, orbit, or oscillate around masculinity on your own terms—you are welcome here.

If the invitation resonates, then this space is probably for you.

Why I Created This Work

I spent my twenties as an actor and model in West Hollywood: the epicenter of gay perfectionism. Taking selfies in every mirror I could find, seeking validation and surrounded by impossible standards, I destroyed my self-image trying to be younger, more muscular, more perfect. The very place that should have celebrated my queerness became another mirror reflecting back all the ways I wasn't enough.

Mirror work saved me. What started as looking into my own eyes each morning whispering tender affirmations, became a journey home to myself. I learned that self-love isn't a destination, it's a daily practice of radical acceptance.

I created this program because mirror work cuts through all the spiritual bypassing straight to what matters: learning to love yourself so fully that your very presence becomes medicine for others.

Weekly Challenges & Community Adventures

Beyond the daily mirror work, each week includes community challenges designed to deepen your transformation and build sacred brotherhood.
The Signal group becomes your container for raw truth-telling, celebration, and the kind of intimate witnessing that only happens in conscious queer community.

WEEK 1: SHADOW CHALLENGES

What must die: The voices of perfectionist gay culture, impossible beauty standards, and the learned habit of seeing yourself through critical eyes.

Daily Practice: Shadow mirror work, releasing inherited shame, meeting the parts of yourself you've been trained to reject.

Sacred Tech: Conscious death practices to release what no longer serves your authentic self-image.

WEEK 2: GOLDEN CHALLENGES

What emerges: The capacity to see yourself as sacred creation, divine art, worthy of reverence and celebration.

Daily Practice: Light mirror work, appreciation practices, seeing yourself through the eyes of unconditional love.

Sacred Tech: Visioning practices to remember who you truly are beyond social conditioning by reprogramming your subconscious beliefs.

WEEK 3: EROTIC CHALLENGES

What you become: A man who relates to his reflection with erotic reverence: alive, appreciative, celebratory.

Daily Practice: Erotic mirror work, embodied self-love, claiming your beauty and pleasure as medicine for the world.

Sacred Tech: Integration sensual practices that anchor this new way of seeing into your daily life.

The Somatic Science & Subconscious Reprogramming

This isn't just positive thinking. Every mirror exercise is designed to rewire your nervous system and reprogram your subconscious beliefs at the cellular level. When we look in the mirror with judgment, our body registers threat and activates stress responses. When we practice embodied self-love through sacred reflection, we activate the parasympathetic nervous system - the state where healing, creativity, and connection flourish.

You'll learn specific somatic techniques - breath work, gentle touch, vocal toning - that help your body feel the love you're speaking to yourself. We'll work with relaxed states of consciousness - the optimal conditions for subconscious reprogramming - to literally install new beliefs about your worth, beauty, and power.

Through repetition and somatic embodiment, we'll override decades of conditioning with new neural pathways that support your authentic self-perception. Because lasting transformation happens in the body, not just the mind.

WHERE WE GATHER

Nestled on 165 acres in the high desert of Southern California, about an hour east of San Diego, we gather on the traditional lands of the Kumeyaay people (Tiipai), who have lived, worked, and held ceremony in this landscape for over 10,000 years. Jacumba holds particular significance in Kumeyaay cosmology: it is where two mythical brothers, Tuchaipa and Yokomatis, emerged from the ground, and where healing hot springs have offered cleansing for millennia.

The land embraces you with ancient oak trees, dramatic boulder formations, caves, and sweeping desert vistas. At the heart of the sanctuary sits the Shala: a 1,000 square foot ceremonial space dedicated to prayer, healing, and transformation. The property includes a saltwater pool, hot tub and steam room, comfortable sleeping accommodations, and countless wild places to wander among the chaparral and stone.

THE EROTIC ART OF SELF-DEVOTION

Patriarchy taught us to see our bodies as problems to solve rather than temples to worship. Gay culture added its own poison: impossible beauty standards that keep us performing instead of feeling. But here's what the deepest erotic work understands: the erotic is about feeling, not performing. It's about senses, intuition, knowing your body as sacred technology. When we bring erotic aliveness to mirror work, we activate the very neural pathways that support healing, creativity, and deep self-connection.

When you learn to see yourself through the eyes of desire instead of judgment, when you practice embodied appreciation for your own beauty, you become walking permission for other queer men to love themselves that wildly too.

Your self-seduction becomes activism.

Your pleasure becomes prayer.

Your mirror becomes portal to the erotic wholeness this world desperately needs.
